So I’ve been wearing more “girly” shoes lately. Since the kids are all now at an age where I don’t have to be chasing them to be sure noone runs into traffic, I can exand my foorwear out of sneakers. Not that I’m any great fashionista, my mom still dresses me, and even a decade after she’s gone I will probably still have my fashion choices dictated by her sense of style (so its a good thing she has excellent taste).
I don’t remember this from before I had kids and went off on my sneaker-fetish, but these girly shoes more and more often have some kind of felt on the soles. WTF? Is it supposed to make you walk soundless like a ninja? Or maybe its one of those things that tells you when you need new shoes, when the felt wears off *ding* its time for an upgrade, like those toothbrushes with the color strip so you know when its worn out?
