I am privileged to be able to teach art to my kiddos classes at our Elementary School.  Our school licences and uses the “Art In Action” program, which is designed in such a fashion that anybody willing to try to hold the attention of 30 grade-school kids can give these kids some exposure to art and art history.

Having a art-degree, however, allows me to trample roughshod all over the program.  I spent my first year working Star Wars into every one of the lessons (I had an entire class attempting to draw Hoth in the style of Bruegel‘s  “Winter Scene”).
