I admit it, I have a geeky kinda of love for most of the code-names that things go by, but the image of a “SlowLoris Attack” was too awesome to pass up.  The actual attack is a bit of a vexing thing, a refined and elegant DDoS attack, wherein a single machine is slowly draining the resources of a webserver by taking over all of its available incoming streams.
